"Jaycee is an amazing pet photographer! She really brought out India’s best features: her eyes and her pretty curly coat!"
-Atty. Jennie Cerrada

Welcome to Frisky Pawtraits!
I’m Jaycee, the passionate Nuvali-based pet photographer behind Frisky Pawtraits, and I truly have the best job in the world—capturing the unique personalities of beloved pets through stunning, heartfelt photography. Specializing in dog and cat portraits, I focus on bringing out each pet’s essence, whether in motion, at play, or peacefully basking in their natural surroundings.
As a lifelong animal lover, I grew up with Aspins and Puspins, forming a deep, unbreakable bond with pets that shaped my journey. Through every chapter of life, animals have been my constant source of love and companionship, inspiring my passion for pet portraiture and leading to the creation of Frisky Pawtraits.
With years of experience working with pets of all temperaments and training levels, I’ve mastered countless techniques to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable photography experience while preserving the heart, soul, and personality of your furry companion. My goal is more than just taking beautiful pictures—it's about celebrating the deep connection between pets and their humans.
Pet photography is my greatest passion, and I believe in promoting kindness, love, and appreciation for animals through my work. I would be honored to capture your pet’s story and create timeless images you'll treasure forever. If you'd like to learn more or book a session, I’d love to connect!

“A great pet photograph is a window into the heart of the animal and a reflection of their unique spirit.”

Fun Facts About Me
- I’m more of a cat person. At one point, I cared for 23 rescued cats—yes, twenty-three! From calicos to tuxedos, moo cats to torties, I’ve loved (and litter-trained) them all. Ginger cats are my soft spot. Luckily, I have a vet sister who kept me and the furballs alive and well!
- I used to be pretty athletic! I played college varsity basketball and took karate and judo lessons starting in high school—so yes, I can kick butt (but only in self-defense… or if you cancel your booking. Charot!). My favorite teams? San Antonio Spurs for the NBA, and Brgy. Ginebra for the PBA. Never say die!
- I’m musically inclined—with an alternative rock soul. I’ve played the piano, guitar, and drums, but my heart belongs to the six-string. I was a keyboardist in a college band and a drummer in high school. Nowadays, I just rock out in the kitchen while batch-cooking (more on that later!).
- I’m happiest under the sun or sky. Nature keeps me grounded. Outside of pet and sports photography, I find peace in capturing landscapes, seascapes, and the quiet magic of the outdoors during my travels.
- Home cooking became my love language. Living away from home since college taught me how to cook for myself—and eventually, for others. I do batch cooking when I know a crazy week is coming, so there’s always something hearty waiting in the fridge.
- I have a geeky side too—I’m a Lean Six Sigma practitioner. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably in spreadsheet heaven. I love solving messy problems, streamlining chaos, and turning complex processes into smooth, simple systems. Pet photography feeds my heart. Process improvement feeds my brain. (And yes, I’ve optimized how I pack my camera bag and our mobile pet studio.)
- I once dreamed of becoming a pediatrician… until I realized that little kids kind of stress me out. 😅 Now I photograph fur kids—they’re cuter, fluffier, and don’t throw tantrums (well… not the same kind, at least).
- My first dog was a German Shepherd in college. He was rehomed to me by a friend, and I loved him deeply—but sadly, I lost all his photos (cloud storage wasn’t a thing yet).
- I love fresh flavors! I’m all about fresh, feel-good food—salads, fruits, pasta, pizza and anything with cheese on it (except blue cheese… we don’t talk about her). If it’s colorful, creamy, or crunchy, I’m in.
- I’ve spent most of my life between Manila and South Luzon. Born in Quezon City, raised in Naga City (Cam Sur), then off to Los Baños, Laguna for six years of college life. After that, I spent nearly two decades in the hustle and bustle of Manila’s corporate world, followed by a peaceful pause in Lipa City (right around the time Frisky Pawtraits was coming to life)—and now, I call vibrant Nuvali home. If you’re trying to calculate my age from all that... don’t worry, I’ve stopped counting birthdays and started counting blessings instead. 😉
